Rejuvenating the Face With Facial Fat Grafting
Fat grafting in Southlake can be performed on the face, lips, back of hands, buttocks and breasts.
Fat is retrieved with liposuction techniques from the patient’s abdomen, back, or thighs. The fat is prepared with washing and/or spinning methods, and then injected back into the patient in the desired areas. Fat can be injected in the cheeks, nasolabial folds, forehead, earlobes, and/or chin for facial rejuvenation. Not only does the fat augment deflated areas of the face, it can also help to improve skin quality over the areas of injection.

Recovery time:
The patient can expect some bruising and swelling in the areas of injection for the first 1-2 weeks after surgery.
The swelling subsides over the following weeks and the final result is typically apparent after 3-4 months.
