What is CoolSculpting?
CoolSculpting is an FDA-cleared non-surgical fat reduction treatment that freezes fat cells using cryolipolysis (the name of a fat freezing technique). Once frozen, the fat cells die a natural death and your kidneys process them.

What is the difference between CoolSculpting and CoolSculpting Elite technologies?
The original CoolSculpting technology is called the legacy machine. You can only apply 1 applicator at a time, which limits how much treatment area we can cover.
With the new CoolSculpting Elite technology, we can apply 2 applicators at the same time, significantly reducing treatment session duration.
Why is CoolSculpting Elite the better option?
The difference between CoolSculpting and CoolSculpting Elite doesn’t just lie in the machine itself; it lies in the whole treatment process!
1. Cuts treatment time in half
With the legacy machine, we could only use 1 applicator at a time and therefore only focus on one treatment area. But because we can apply 2 applicators on the CoolSculpting Elite technology, it literally cuts treatment time in half!
If your treatment plan involves 4 abdomen treatments, your original CoolSculpting treatment time would be around 4 hours.
But with CoolSculpting Elite? Just 2 hours!
2. Treatment is customizable
CoolSculpting Elite also allows for a more versatile, customizable treatment approach. We have several applicators of different shapes and sizes to choose from, so we can customize treatment based on your concern areas!
This means you could come in for a CoolSculpting session for your double chin and your love handles, and get them treated at the same time!
3. Treatment is more comfortable
The new applicator design for CoolSculpting Elite improves fit and comfort during treatment. The applicators are C-shaped to fit our natural body curves better.
4. Better results
The design difference between CoolSculpting and CoolSculpting Elite allows for closer contact with the skin, and therefore better suction. This suction is what isolates the fat cells and destroys them.
Both CoolSculpting methods can remove 20 to 25% of stubborn fat in the treated area.
However, with 2 intuitively designed applicators, more suction, and less treatment time, you will experience better and quicker results!
5. Treatment is safer
CoolSculpting Elite technology reduces the amount of squeezing or pinching of the treatment areas. With the original CoolSculpting technology, Paradoxical Adipose Hyperplasia (PAH) was an extremely rare side effect of the squeezing and pinching.
PAH is an overgrowth of fatty cells, causing the treatment area to swell and become hard. Although already uncommon, the newer CoolSculpting Elite technology decreases the possibility of PAH even more.
