You’ve denied it for too long. You’ve put on weight. And it’s not like you haven’t noticed. Every time you see a photo of yourself or get a passing glance of your profile in the mirror, you cringe. While many people lose weight to get healthy, there’s nothing wrong with working out to look better.

Self-confidence is incredibly important for mental health, and at Southlake Plastic Surgery, we know how important it is to match your perception of yourself with your actual appearance. But even when you put in the work, you may find that you’re still unsatisfied. But you don’t have to be unsatisfied for long, thanks to CoolSculpting Elite in Dallas.

Why You Need CoolSculpting Elite

Dieting and exercise can’t help us achieve all of our aesthetic goals. If you’re looking for a body that would be right at home on the cover of a magazine, you might have to put in a little more effort. Now, that can be a frustrating idea. After all, you’ve worked hard to get here.

You said no to the second slice of pie, cut down on the drinking, and got up early to exercise before work, and now we’re telling you that it isn’t enough?

All of that is certainly a great start, but there are certain pockets of fat on the human body that can’t be erased through healthy living. And for that, you should consider CoolSculpting Elite in Dallas.

CoolSculpting Elite is a fat reduction treatment that targets all areas of the body unaffected by traditional weight loss methods, like diet and exercise. The procedure is non-surgical and simple, and you can even receive the treatment while reading a book or magazine.

Before we get into more of the specifics about the advantages of this revolutionary aesthetic procedure, let’s go over our qualifications.

Southlake Plastic Surgery

We’re Southlake Plastic Surgery and Med Spa. We’re based out of Southlake, Texas, and we’re here to help address any of your aesthetic concerns. We don’t believe in a single-minded approach, and as a result, we’ve developed an extensive catalog of different treatments and procedures.

Southlake, the best place for CoolSculpting in Dallas

It doesn’t matter to us if you’re interested in Botox, laser resurfacing, a fat reduction treatment, or something else entirely. When you meet with us, we’ll listen to your cosmetic concerns and develop a custom treatment plan for you. You’re not just any old patient; you’re an individual, and we want to treat you as such!

The Southlake Team

A medical clinic is nothing without a trained team behind it! As we looked to find practitioners for Southlake Plastic Surgery, we knew it was important to find people who didn’t view this as just any old job.

We didn’t want people who clocked in and clocked out with no thought for their patients or the importance of their work.

Our carefully curated team cares immensely about the aesthetics field. They know that they aren’t just supplying simple cosmetic treatments—they’re supplying confidence. And in this day and age, there are few things more important than self-confidence.

Southlake Plastic Surgery Med Spa

We designed Southlake Plastic Surgery Med Spa for maximum patient satisfaction. Getting an aesthetic treatment can be somewhat intimidating, especially if it’s your first time. So we didn’t want to design a clinic that felt overly cold or clinical.

We think that self-care should be relaxing above all. But if you lean too far into the spa direction, then you risk seeming unprofessional! We think we’ve found a nice balance between doctor’s office and spa retreat.

When you walk through our doors, we want you to know that you’re in safe hands. At all times, our number one commitment is to the patient!

How Does CoolSculpting Elite in Dallas Work?

We’ll get a more in-depth look on how CoolSculpting Elite works to eliminate fat cells a little later on, but for now, know that CoolSculpting Elite is a non-surgical fat reduction treatment designed to freeze fat cells so the body can slough them off. That’s right, we said “freeze.” This might sound painful or uncomfortable, but don’t worry—the procedure is completely safe and relatively comfortable.

But is CoolSculpting Elite a solution for all kinds of fat? What can CoolSculpting Elite treat specifically, and why should you consider it if you want a slim, toned look?

What Can CoolSculpting Elite Treat?

Despite the fact that CoolSculpting Elite is a fat reduction treatment, it is not recommended for weight loss. Instead, CoolSculpting Elite in Dallas is designed for those patients who have already lost weight and are looking to trim excess fat. If you’re looking for something that can cut weight, then we have other options available for that.

For instance, to lose weight, you might consider trying a semaglutide injection, which can be prescribed to help you control an overactive appetite. If that sounds like something that would interest you, then bring it up during your consultation, and we can refer you to our experienced medical partners.

But if CoolSculpting Elite isn’t designed to help you lose weight, then what can it treat? CoolSculpting Elite can’t treat every kind of fat. You may be surprised to learn that there are multiple different kinds of fat, and some are worse than others.

CoolSculpting Elite is designed for something that we like to call “pinchable fat.” Here’s how you can tell if your fat is pinchable fat:

Pinchable Fat

The term “pinchable fat” is pretty self-explanatory. If you’re wondering if you can treat a certain part of your body with a CoolSculpting Elite treatment, try and see if you can pinch it with your fingers. If you can get a good grip on it, then there’s a good chance that this can be treated with the help of CoolSculpting Elite in Dallas.

Losing weight before CoolSculpting in Dallas

This might seem like a bit of a random distinction, but it’s actually hugely important, especially considering the way CoolSculpting Elite in Dallas works. It needs to get a good purchase on the problematic fat areas to effectively treat it. If it can’t get a hold on it, then it can’t freeze the fat cells. If it can’t freeze the fat cells, they can’t be shed by the body.

Visceral Fat

One thing the CoolSculpting Elite can’t treat is something called “visceral fat.” It’s a less catchy name for a more serious kind of fat. Visceral fat is the kind of fat in your midsection, particularly the kind that hangs around your intestines. Another, more common term for this kind of fat is a “beer belly.”

As much as we’d all like a quick fix for our prominent beer bellies, CoolSculpting Elite is not a solution for this kind of fat. As mentioned above, this is because visceral fat lines the internal organs and cannot be accessed by the Coolsculpting Elite adaptors. Unfortunately, you’ll just have to use more traditional methods to get rid of your visceral fat.

CoolSculpting Elite Treatment Examples

Not sure if your fat is the “right” kind of fat to be treated by CoolSculpting Elite in Dallas? That’s totally fine, because we’ve done a lot of treatments over the years, so we have a pretty good idea of what kinds of fat will be perfect for a CoolSculpting Elite treatment. These include:

  • Unwanted body fat
  • Outer thighs
  • Muffin tops
  • Love handles
  • Inner thighs
  • Belly fat
  • Men’s pectoral area
  • Upper arms
  • Double chin
  • Knees
  • Bra fat

If you have an excess amount of any of these kinds of fat, then you may be a good candidate for CoolSculpting in Dallas, but there are other factors to consider as well.

Is CoolSculpting Elite in Dallas Right for You?

Just because you have some pinchable fat doesn’t mean that you’re a good fit for CoolSculpting Elite. If you’re considering scheduling a CoolSculpting Elite treatment, you should be generally healthy. Remember: this isn’t designed to help you lose weight—it’s to help you feel more confident after the weight is gone!

As a general rule, anyone who wants to try CoolSculpting Elite should be within 25 pounds of their ideal weight. If you’re more than 25 pounds overweight, then CoolSculpting Elite is likely not the right fit for you or your body. If you’re unsure of your target weight, reach out to a medical professional.

Additionally, if you have some specific disorders like cryoglobulinemia, then CoolSculpting Elite is not the right choice for you.

Southlake’s CoolSculpting Elite Expertise

Our team is more than equipped to administer a CoolSculpting Elite treatment. The process isn’t as simple as an injection or prescribing a supplement, but that’s okay. We’ve got all the experience you could need. In fact, we’re one of the top CoolSculpting Elite clinics in north Texas. We’re in the top 50 of the entire state!

Every member of our team has also received extensive CoolSculpting training from CoolSculpting University.

This is an intense program designed to teach practitioners more advanced techniques in safely and more effectively perform Coolsculpting treatments. At Southlake Plastic Surgery, we now have the newer Coolsculpting Elite machine for better results.

So rest assured—when we say that we can handle an in-depth CoolSculpting Elite treatment, we mean it!

Introducing CoolSculpting Elite

CoolSculpting in Dallas is a wonderful treatment, but recently, we’ve upgraded. We’re so excited to offer CoolSculpting Elite. CoolSculpting Elite is more than a name change.

This new machine has two separate adaptors, meaning that we can treat two areas of the body at once. Because of this, the length of the procedure is reduced by half. You won’t have to spend hours at a time sitting in our treatment chair, worrying about the work you’re missing.

Coolsculpting Elite’s newer technology also yields better results! The applicators are designed to better capture the areas of fat and target unwanted fat more effectively.

We want our aesthetic treatments to be as convenient as possible, and thanks to CoolSculpting Elite, we can cut down on treatment time, all while providing even more effective results!

The CoolSculpting Process From Start to Finish

Now, we’ll outline the entire process for CoolSculpting Elite in Dallas. We believe in transparency at Southlake Plastic Surgery. So, we’re going to tell you how you can schedule a CoolSculpting Elite procedure, how to prepare for treatment, what the treatment will be like, and, finally, what to expect after the treatment is complete.

The Consultation

The first part of any treatment at Southlake is the consultation. This might not be the most flashy way to start an aesthetic procedure, but it is a necessary one. We need to understand your body and your condition before we prescribe any treatment.

A man receives a consultation for CoolSculpting in Dallas

We’ll ask you questions about what you’re hoping to gain from your time at our clinic. We’ll also perform a short physical. From there, we’ll make some recommendations about which of our treatments may be right for your aesthetic goals. If we think that CoolSculpting Elite in Dallas is your best option for fat reduction, we’ll get it scheduled!

We will also take “before” photos prior to your treatment. This way, you can see the results of your CoolSculpting Elite treatment for yourself. The changes are gradual yet pronounced, so you may not notice them as they’re happening. But if you compare your final results with your “before” pictures, you may just be blown away!

Preparing for CoolSculpting Elite

CoolSculpting Elite in Dallas doesn’t require much of an effort on the part of the patient. But there are some things you can do to make the CoolSculpting Elite appointment more enjoyable on your end.

You won’t need to go under like you would for a surgery—you’ll be conscious for the entire process. You will, however, be sitting for a little while, so it’s always a good idea to bring something to entertain yourself, whether that be a book, a magazine, or a fully charged phone. And since you’ll be sitting for a while, wear something you’ll be comfortable sitting in!

From there, there isn’t really anything you need to prepare for your CoolSculpting Elite appointment!

How We Measure the Treatment Area

On the day of your appointment, we’ll give you the opportunity to ask any more questions. If you’re still ready to receive the treatment, then we’ll get started! The first step of CoolSculpting Elite in Dallas is the measurements.

We’ll take a look at intended treatment areas, mark them, and measure them. We do this to get a better idea of what size applicator you’ll need for your appointment.

This isn’t a one-size-fits-all kind of treatment, so we may mix and match applicator sizes, depending on what your body needs. After that’s all settled, we can get started on the procedure itself!

The Gel Sheet

The gel sheet is a vital aspect of the CoolSculpting Elite treatment plan. We’ll place it over the marked measurements so you don’t have to worry about your skin being negatively affected by the cell-freezing process.

While the aim of the treatment is to freeze the fat cells on the problematic area, we don’t want to harm any healthy tissue. The gel sheet helps protect you and keep you comfortable during the procedure as a whole.

Wait!

The next part of the CoolSculpting Elite treatment is the simplest. All you have to do is wait for the treatment applicator to do its work. That’s all there is to it! This applicator works like a suction cup, and it sucks up your fat into the device while it freezes the fat cells.

The overall treatment time depends on the number of treatments needed at each appointment session. Each treatment lasts about 30-45 minutes, so depending on the number of treatments you are getting, you may be able to do it during your lunch break. If you want to do several treatments, that can be done in a few hours.

Massage It Out

We’ll end your treatment with a massage. That’s right, after you’re done waiting for the CoolSculpting Elite applicator to finish freezing the fat, we’ll remove said applicator and get to work massaging the treatment area.

At Southlake Plastic Surgery, we use an advanced and more consistent massage method with our Z-wave machine. You will hear a knocking sounds as the machine breaks down the frozen fat evenly.

And while this will almost certainly be a relaxing experience, we don’t just do this for your benefit. The massage is actually a vital part of the procedure, because we need to massage out the frozen cells. After the treatment, your treatment area will be full of frozen tissue. This frozen tissue needs to be broken up so the body can begin to recover, and so you can see results!

The Z-wave machine breaks down the fat cells consistently and quicker so that your body can get rid of the fat cells quicker.

Lose the Fat

That’s all there is to it! Once the massage is complete, we can let you go! From there, we just need to wait for the body to remove the fat cells. The body can remove these cells through its  lymphatic system. The frozen cells are actually dead cells; they die during the CoolSculpting Elite treatment.

Because the body has no use for these dead cells, it does away with them on its own. It won’t happen all at once, but you will see the effects of your CoolSculpting Elite treatment appear gradually over time. You will generally see a 25% reduction of fat each time the area is treated. This is why it takes longer to get rid of the fat with Coolsculpting Elite—it is a gradual process.

Does CoolSculpting Elite in Dallas Hurt?

This is a common question we receive from patients, and it’s an understandable one. The idea of intentionally freezing one’s cells so the body will get rid of them might seem a little unpleasant.

But don’t worry, this process is not painful or even overly uncomfortable. The suction applicator might cause the sensation of someone pulling at your skin.

At its worst, this process might feel like a mild pinch. As the cells freeze, you will notice a decrease in temperature, like taking an ice bath. But this circumvents any need for a numbing agent, as the cold numbs the skin for us!

Pro-Nox for Anxiety and Discomfort

If you’re still concerned about the potential discomfort associated with CoolSculpting Elite in Dallas, that’s okay; we still have options for you. At Southlake, we’re excited to offer Pro-Nox. Pro-Nox is a 50/50 mix of nitrous oxide and oxygen.

This mix is delivered by way of a self-administered inhalant device, meaning you control how much Pro-Nox you get and when you get it. We describe the effects of Pro-Nox as similar to having a couple glasses of wine.

Your anxiety will lessen, and your tolerance for irritation and discomfort will increase. After the treatment is complete, just stop inhaling, and the results will wear off in seconds.

When Will I See Results Following My CoolSculpting Elite Treatment?

You will see a gradual reduction in fat over the next several weeks in the areas treated. Many of our patients begin to notice results 3-4 weeks after completion of the treatment. Many of our patients begin to notice results just 3 weeks after completion of the treatment.

These results won’t just stop after 3 weeks, though. The effects of CoolSculpting Elite will gradually improve for up to 6 months after the initial procedure.

And unlike some other aesthetic treatments, CoolSculpting Elite results are especially long-lasting. This is because after the body sheds the dead fat cells, they stay gone! To make benefits even more pronounced, we recommend multiple treatments. For maximum results, we suggest scheduling 4 to 8 CoolSculpting Elite sessions.

We suggest scheduling packages of Coolsculpting Elite 4-8 treatment sessions, depending on the amount of fat to be reduced in the area.

Are There Any Side Effects After CoolSculpting Elite in Dallas?

Yes, there are some side effects associated with CoolSculpting Elite in Dallas. Patients who receive Coolsculpting Elite can resume all normal activities immediately after treatment including working out or going back to work.

You may notice that the treatment area(s) may be red or pink and a little swollen. Some people feel that the area may be numb for a few days, and it might feel extra sensitive to the touch. If this happens, we recommend wearing something that covers the area to reduce the sensitivity. But luckily, these symptoms are temporary and should go away within the week after treatment.

Surgical Alternatives to CoolSculpting

While CoolSculpting Elite in Dallas is a great choice for anyone looking to get rid of pockets of stubborn unwanted fat, it isn’t the most aggressive choice. Our team offers surgical alternatives for fat reduction as well. If you’re at all familiar with plastic surgery, you’ve no doubt heard of liposuction.

Liposuction also reduces fat in localized areas; it is not a weight loss method. Liposuction’s results are more immediate since the fat is removed by suctioning out the fat mixed with fluids which break down the fat cells.

Well, if that sounds of interest to you, good news! We offer liposuction at Southlake Plastic Surgery. Unlike CoolSculpting Elite, liposuction does require anesthesia, and it requires more physical and social downtime. The areas treated will be swollen due to the saline injected into the areas; you may also have drains to help you get rid of the excess fluid after surgery.

The process is entirely safe, and it might be your preferred choice if you want a quicker method of fat reduction in localized areas. You should see results within 3-4 weeks after the swelling has gone down and full recovery is usually within 6 weeks. Coolsculpting Elite results will vary depending on how many sessions of treatments needed. This can take up to 6 months.
