  1. OUR MEDICAL DIRECTOR:

Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Mark Mason, is consistently named “Top Doc” and “Best of the Best,” voted by the community and colleagues. He graduated first in his medical school class and completed his plastic surgery residency at Stanford. He has over 25 years of experience, and is known for his natural looking facial surgeries. He oversees all treatment plans in the office. He has a close working relationship with all of our providers. Our nurses and estheticians routinely text, email, and visit with Dr. Mason about questions and ideas for future treatments. He loves teaching, and is very knowledgeable and approachable, thereby creating a fantastic work environment for our providers. This environment directly benefits our patients.

2. CONTINUING EDUCATION

Our providers are constantly learning and continuing education at various seminars and symposiums. Sonia and Stephanie just got back from a Sciton summit in California. Kelli is going to Aesthetic Next in Dallas next month, and Lindsay is going to Boston in October for the ISPAN conference. Lindsay Van Meter is a CANS certified injector. Most patients don’t know what this means! Injectors who have earned their CANS certification must pass a written exam after being deemed eligible to sit for the board. Eligibility is determined by:

  • Be currently licensed in the United States as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Work with a doctor who is Board Certified in Plastic Surgery, Dermatology, or Opthalmology
  • Have at least 2 years of experience as a RN + a minimum of 1,000 practice hours in this field of nursing
  • Have an endorsement from their supervising physician

3. NO GROUPON!

Why is this a reason to come? Because Groupon is a business model. Businesses in need of new customers rely on Groupon to advertise discounted goods/services, and count on making their money by upselling customers once they come through the door. We don’t view our patients as customers. We are a medical office, and we provide medical procedures. We are not here to “sell,” but rather, to educate, and safely deliver efficacious and effective treatments. The last thing anybody wants is to go to a spa, where the medical director is nowhere to be found, and be told all the “recommended treatments” when it comes to their face. That can be off putting, and even offensive. Our providers are trained to follow the patient’s lead on sharing information. If you want to know what they recommend, ask! We want our patients to feel educated and empowered on this journey.

4. CUSTOMIZED TREATMENT PLAN:

While there are certainly recommended doses for medications, settings for lasers, and number of cycles for CoolSculpting, every patient truly needs a customized treatment plan to obtain their ideal results. We work cohesively as a team to achieve your goals. There is not a “one size fits all” approach for our patients. We assess your concern, and based on our experience, determine a plan, with realistic expectations set. We track your progress through photos and are as excited as you are when you are seeing visible results! While other med spas might try to cast a big net and get a lot of patients, treat them all as quickly as possible with a standard dose, and then try to find more patients, we would rather invest in our patients and make sure they know how much we appreciate them, and how invested we are in their outcomes.
